Product Details
A cosy cape with generous rib collar, folded over, this design features an interesting herringbone stitch pattern and rounded cabled edges. Construction starts with the rib collar, knitted in the round, then switches to Herringbone Stitch working back and forth on circular needles. It ends with a short rib section and the cable edges are grafted to complete. This a fairly quick knit with some interesting techniques although probably challenging for the beginner. The original yarn - Artesano British Wool, a 100% British chunky wool - is now discontinued, but an alternative is suggested here. Otherwise try LoveKnitting or yarnsub for suggested substitutions but as always, do swatch first.
