Product Details
This textured pullover features a mock herringbone stitch created with knits and purls. A tall cowl is worked in the round and shaped by changing needle size. Because the herringbone stitch is reversible, the cowl looks great whether you wear it folded or scrunched.
The patterning remains centered in all sizes by starting the chart at a different point for each size. Markers are set between the first few repeats to help in shaping in pattern. By looking at how many stitches remain to the marker after an increase or decrease, the knitter will be able to find their starting place in the 10 stitch repeat in order to stay in pattern.
When shaping, look at the chart to see if you would be on a knit or a purl, and choose your increases and decrease stitch accordingly.
