Product Details
A hexaflexagon is a curiosity, usually made in paper. The pattern contains three variations
- Crochet hexaflexagon
- Crochet hexaflexacube
- Knitted hexaflexagon
The first six photographs are all of the same cushion. It has six flat faces which are revealed by folding it in different directions. (The hexaflexacube is not shown in the photos.)
You can use any yarns of your choice though they should all be the same thickness. Basic techniques are used for all of the cushions so you may wish to make the pieces in a different way. Detailed instructions are included for assembling the pieces.
The cushions are padded with triangles cut from a sheet of polyester wadding. The cushions shown were made with inexpensive acrylic DK yarns as they were intended to be handled by hundred of people. They have stood the test of time very well.
