These socks were knit at 2 at a time, toe-up but can be done one at a time if preferred. I give instructions for heels and toes, but you can do a different kind if you like a different style better. I would consider this a moderate-level sock because the one stitch could be a little fiddly for the beginner knitter. Other than that stitch, the overall pattern would be fine for the beginner knitter. The pattern is a texture strip up the side of each sock and the stitch count can be adapted for any size foot.
