Is it a hood, a snood or a cowl? Regardless of how you choose to define this accessory, it’s a quick crochet project that will keep your head and neck cosy all winter. Wear it pulled up like a hood or a snood, or down like a cowl.
Knowledge of basic crochet stitches, techniques and terminology is assumed. You will be working in the front 3rd loop of half double crochet and single crochets and working into the front loop only. The pattern uses simple short rows and includes a photo tutorial to help with stitch placement.
You will need You will need approximately 270m/290yds of heavy worsted, aran or light chunky weight yarn and an 8mm crochet hook
