What you'll need
Product Details
The double layers of this two colour slipped stitch headband makes it the perfect stylish accessory for cold weather. The combination of on trend, vintage aesthetic with on trend, old fashioned practicality, makes it the headband you’ll return to year after year.
The incredibly simple, one colour at a time, slipped stitch pattern makes it perfect meditative or tv or queue knitting.
Combine a gradient, variegated yarn or even a parade of leftovers with a workhorse solid to striking effect.
The headband starts with a provisional cast on and is finished by using kitchener stitch to graft the live sts from the cast on to the final row of knit sts. Alternatively, you can cast on and off as usual and neatly sew the two ends of your knitting together.
Full, step by step, instructions for both the crochet provisional cast on and Kitchener Stitch graft are provided on the ‘Techniques’ page of the pattern.
