iSanquhar is the perfect project for using up scrap sock yarns to great effect!

Protect your iPhone, iPad or camera with this fun and speedy knit.

The town of Sanquhar in Dumfriesshire, Scotland, is the home of a very specific style of stranded knitting, usually in the form of gloves, traditionally worn in the town for ceremonial occasions. The Sanquhar patterns feature intricate, two-colour, high-contrast designs, many of which are formed from squares, 11sts x 11sts.

The patterns have romantic and evocative names, such as "The Duke", "The Rose and Trellis", and "The Glendyne".

Traditionally, the Sanquhar gloves features a corrugated rib cuff, and the wearer's initials would be knitted into the wrist band. iSanquhar incorporates these features too!

iSanquhar is the perfect blend of "tradtech": tradition and technology melded together in one quick and easy project.

What better way to combine the old and the new than in a fabulous Sanquhar-inspired cosy for your iPhon
