Product Details

This beautiful baby blanket uses cables and eyelets to make a 3-dimensional fabric that is complex and eye-catching. The moss (seed) stitch border blends into the Windmill Stitch centre to create a harmonious whole and a neat finish.

The design is named after the famous Jack and Jill windmills near my home in Sussex, England.

The blanket is knitted flat in one piece from the bottom up using a circular needle. It is suitable for a fairly experienced knitter. You will need to follow a 12 stitch/28 row pattern which includes cables and eyelets on right side rows only. The pattern is written and charted.

The size can easily be adjusted by changing the number of pattern repeats. The blanket uses approx 875 m of sport weight yarn.
