Product Details
This pattern was inspired by all the odds and ends of beautiful shades of DK yarn that I have left over from other projects that are far to good to waste. The fronts and backs are knitted together so there are no side seams. The sleeves are knitted in rows to the armholes where they are joined to the body to form a yoke that is knitted in rows on a circular needle. There is no carrying of yarns as the design never bridges more than three stitches and there are fewer ends to sew in than you would imagine as the yarns can mostly be carried upwards to where they are needed. Instructions are given for approximate ages 1 to 10 years and include charts. I used DK wool of the same gauge but different brands. This pattern enables you to make something that is practical yet unique.
