JULE is a classic V-neck cardigan that is seamlessly knitted from top to bottom. It begins with a provisional cast-on for the neckband. The stitches for the back are picked up from the band. The shoulders are shaped using the contiguous method by Susie Myers, and the front bands are continuously knitted

The pattern provides instructions for 5 different types of yarn:
- gauge 16 sts x 24 rows / US9 (5,5 mm) and US10 (6,0 mm)
- gauge 18 sts x 27 rows / US8 (5,0 mm) and US7 (4,5 mm)
- gauge 20 sts x 30 rows / US6 (5,0 mm) and US7 (4,5 mm)
- gauge 22 sts x 33 rows / US5 (3,5 mm) and US6 (4,0 mm)
- gauge 24 sts x 36 rows / US5 (3,5 mm) and US3 (3,0 mm)
