Slippers are meant to be easy to make: and these are so simple and fast to make that they are no bother at all. They also have the advantage of an interesting and novel construction; top down, in the round and seamless yet with no picking up of stitches or short rows and no heel to turn. Just knit all the way.
The pattern also contains a basic % formula for custom sizing.
Skills and techniques This is a very easy knit. Knitting in the round: pattern is written for one needle magic loop, but you may substitute two circulars. DPNs are not recommended. Grafting on the sole.
Pattern contains Full written instructions with links to video tutorials for cast on methods and the more unusual aspects of the construction.
Yarn: my purple sample in the Hayfield Bonus chunky 100% acrylic. My green tweed sample is the Stylecraft Swiftknit tweed (80/20 acrylic & wool). Any superchunky with which you can hit gauge (10 sts to 10cm/4in) in wool, acrylic or a blend should be fine here.
