What a beautiful little moon of Jupiter!
Io was discovered in 1610 by Galileo and it's the most geologically active body in the whole solar system. Its surface is covered in volcanoes, whose volcanic plumes and lava flows have resulted in its colourful appearance, including yellow sulphur and sulphur dioxide frost.
What you will need: 2 knitting needles (US2/2.75mm or as per tension advice), 20g yellow DK yarn (e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK 252 ‘Lemon’), Oddments of grey, black, red, white and green DK yarn, Two black toy safety eyes (9mm), Polyfil toy stuffing, 1 tapestry needle for finishing Skills used: Casting on and off, Increasing and Decreasing, Embroidery Stitches used: Stocking stitch Like all ButterflyLove patterns, it is knitted flat.
