Hi Everyone! I’m Nina Miranda and this is my debut pattern Katniss No. 1! The girl-on-fire has captured our imagination, so when my niece asked me to create a sweater her favorite character wore in the latest film, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to develop something from scratch. Desiring something wearable and washable without being too costume-like, this pattern illustrates how to create three separate pieces that are sewn together to form a usable garment to add to any wardrobe.
Using a grey marble color yarn, this piece looks rugged and can be worn over a light turtleneck or a leather jacket for additional warmth.
You will need to be an intermediate knitter or crocheter or adventurous enough to do the research on any unfamiliar knitting and crochet terms.
