Product Details
Cables, texture, a cozy collar to keep out the chill - what could be better for the cool early mornings of late summer or the crisp afternoons of autumn. Knit in aran weight, this vest is a quick project, with a few details to add spice.
CONSTRUCTION: Beginning with hem sections which are worked separately and then joined, the fronts and back are knit separately from the bottom up, with slight waist shaping. Shoulders are seamed with 3-needle bind off. Collar band is knit along with the fronts, and stitches are picked up at the neck for the collar. Fronts and back are seamed, and stitches are picked up for the armhole trim and worked in the round. Center front edges are trimmed with I-cord.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Bust - 32 (34, 36, 38, 40, 42)(44, 46, 48, 50, 52)". Intended to be worn with 0-2" of ease.
YARN: 550 (600, 630, 680, 715, 770)(800, 855, 895, 950, 985) yds aran weight wool.
