Its knitted in sport-weight, but the fabric will be a little thicker since you are working with two colors.
Its has positive ease, so there`s a little room between body and sweater.
The pattern is perfect for knitters that want to try stranded knitting for the first time. The pattern repeat is just a 2 stitch pattern, so its very easy.
