Product Details
These hanging baubles are very quick to make from scrap yarn. With just nine rows of an easily memorized design, are a great introduction to stranded knitting.
These trinkets start with a provisional cast on of just 8 stitches. You’ll increase to the maximum circumference, knit the stranded portion and then work the decrease section. The ornaments are stuffed right before the final round and are finished off with a tidy crochet hanging loop.
The patterned portion of the baubles is worked using the stranded method of knitting. Hold both colors throughout the charted rounds, changing colors as indicated.
Gauge: 6 stitches per inch for DK weight yarn. Gauge is not critical but should be tight enough to prevent stuffing from peeking through. Using white yarn as the main color helps to blend with the color of the stuffing.

- Notes
- Any scraps of dk weight yarn will do for this pattern, but a light color is best for the background to prevent the stuffing from peeking through.
