"Knospe" is the German word for a little bud. Somehow the brioche stitch pattern of this beanie reminds me of an opening bud.
The KNOSPEE hat is the perfect project to learn two-color brioche knitting. This slightly slouchy beanie is knitted in an simple brioche stitich pattern, very few repeating increases and decreases are shaping this hat. Make it in regular (shown) or slouchy depth. You can wear it different ways, it´s also very beautiful inside out.
Pattern is written for one circumference to fit the average adult female with two depth - beanie or slouch. When applicable, directions for the slouch version are written in parentheses as follows: beanie (slouch ).
