A pretty lace hat pattern, this is the popular slouchy beanie with a lacy twist. The pattern uses readily available variegated yarn but most worsted weight yarns can be substituted. A good pattern to practice crocheting in the round. It can easily adjusted to a larger size or a child's size. The hat works up quickly and would be great for last minute gifts. The hat is easy and suitable for beginners. The flower is a little more challenging but should be fine for an adventurous beginner.
