Product Details

“Laceback Motyle” is a loose–fitting sweater with a wide neckline and ¾-length sleeves, ideal for transitioning into fall. As with my previous design, “Laceback Top”, this one also features elegant lace panels that decorate the back and extend onto both sleeves. However, this time, I used a butterfly-shaped lace pattern – thus the name “Laceback Motyle” (Motyle – Polish for butterflies).

This sweater is worked from the top down in a modified raglan construction and features different shaping for the front and back. Eyelets are added to the sleeves and at the sides of this sweater for fun and decoration, and the contrasting hem gives it a feminine touch, making this top a versatile garment for many occasions.

GAUGE22 sts and 29 rows per 4” {10 cm} in stockinette st with larger needles, washed and blocked.
