When my husband and I were on vacation in Norway this summer, we came through a town called Lærdal. They have a beautiful stave church there, and the longest road tunnel in the world. Suddenly we came across a small yarn store. Hubby, being the wonderful man that he is, immediately looked for a parking space and let me enjoy the beautiful yarn. Two of the skeins I bought there became the Lærdal hat. The pattern has been professionally tech-edited by cupani and test-knit by helenapower, yukachan08, PigmentofmyImagin and marthajane73.
