This pattern can also be made in aran through to chunky if a larger project is required. Alternatively just knit more squares in double knit yarn and add more rows to your project until you have the desired size.

Lovely easy pattern looks beautiful when finished
Very easy to knit and looks lovely
Whilst clearing out my late mother in laws bits & pieces we came across a pattern like this. I kept it and some months ago our granddaughter announced she was pregnant. I felt it was like a sign and started knitting but it soon became clear the elements were not as they should be so I was delighted to find the leaf pattern. The pattern has been easy to follow and progress has only slowed down as there are a lot of pieces to sew together. I am just finishing sewing the last few squares into place and attach the border. Overall I am pleased with the outcome
