Product Details

A symmetric triangle shawls abound. Why? The cast-on is straightforward; the pattern of the stitches is established on initially brief rows; the size is infinitely adaptable to the amount of yarn you happen to have; you can experiment with a myriad of color combinations, and your finished garment always fits!

This shawl is worked by alternating textured stitches with stockinette panels, and is punctuated with short garter rows of contrasting colors.

Instructions are provided for both lace weight & fingering weight yarns, resulting in a shawl that has a wingspan of 58” & a depth of 24”.

The short rows in this project use a technique called a “shadow wrap” but feel free to use whatever short row turning technique you are comfortable with when working your short rows.
