The shawl reminds me of limoncello ice-cream sorbet I used to buy when holidaying in Rome. The tones of yellow merging in chevron afghan stitch along the border of this shawl perfectly complement the off white hue of the main body of the shawl, which is suitable for a walk along a cool beach or an evening stroll sightseeing about town. The triangular shawl is knit top down in garter stitch, starting with a garter tap, increasing along 4 points before merging into lacy chevron and ending with two tone ombreesque afghan stripes.
