I love the look of big, flowy garments. Often times, when I try to recreate those looks on my small frame I end up looking stumpy, blocky or like I'm wearing an afghan. There is nothing wrong with afghans, I just don't want to wear one to work or the grocery store. This Ruana is designed to hit just below the hip in the front, to give you a bit more coverage in the back and to extend out to just below your elbow, to create balance and warmth.
You can style this garment many different ways, wearing it with a shawl collate, adding a button, throwing it over your shoulder or just letting it hang. Either way the shape is such that the Lisa Ruana will stay put.
