These angels measure approx 6" tall when completed in crochet cotton & 6 stranded embroidery for the hair. The head is a cotton ball 1.25" in diameter available from all good craft shops.There are 3 versions of this angel 1) the basic version 2) Second angel is knitted with the addition of 90 small beads sewn around the bottom edges of the sleeves and dress. 3) Third angel has 326 small beads worked into the lacy patternA beautiful craft knit that can be treasured for many Christmases to come.
This lovely pattern was designed by Georgina Manvell. and the pattern was first published in Home & Country magazine in 1983 and again in My Weekly magazine 16/12/1995.We included a picture from the My Weekly article of 1995
We decided that these lovely angels deserved a fresh look and so updated the pictures with a new exciting format. Don't they look great in the snow scene!!. This is exactly the same pattern as featured in Home & Country. Georgina & I ( Suzannah Holwell) now work in partnership as designers with joint copyrights.
