Product Details
This tiny little whale is waiting for you! Try to make the first one in your favourite colour and you won’t resist to crochet a “whale-bow”.
Pattern notes The little whale is formed by 2 pieces (back and belly)then sewn together. The pattern is written in US crochet terms, and worked using the amigurumi method (work in a continuous spiral without closing off the rounds with a ss). It may help to use a stitch marker in the last stitch of each round, moving it up as you work. You can follow the written instructions or the charts.
Tension To make this amigurumi isn’t necessary to use the recommended yarn and crochet hook. Using a larger crochet hook, and a suitable yarn, the amigurumi will be larger preserving the same proportions.
Measurements Working with a 2.5 mm crochet hook and the suggested cotton yarn the finished amigurumi will be approx. 5 cm / 2 in diameter.
I’d love to see your little whale, share a photo on Instagram using the tag #airalidesign @airali_gray
