Product Details
Looking Forward blanket is easy to knit with worsted weight yarn. The design features an 8-row repeat stitch pattern that creates a modern triangular design that is reversible.
SIX BLANKET SIZES:
Baby: 23.5” wide x 27” long
Small: 26.5” wide x 32” long
Medium: 31” wide x 35” long
Large: 36” wide x 42” long
XL: 40.5” wide x 48.5” long
XXL: 46” wide x 55” long
It's easy to make blanket longer by adding pattern repeats.
WORSTED WEIGHT YARN:
Baby: 450 - 470 yards
Small: 600 - 630 yards
Medium: 760 - 800 yards
Large: 1050 - 1120 yards
XL: 1330 - 1430 yards
XXL: 1800 - 1900 yards
GAUGE:
Pattern stitch with US 8 needles: approximately 16 stitches & 24 rows = 4”
Exact gauge is not essential. This stitch pattern looks best with fairly tight stitches.
Blanket knit flat, in one piece, back & forth on circular knitting needles to accommodate large number of stitches.
Blocking of finished knitting is highly recommended.
