Product Details
Looking Glass is a set of three patterns: worsted & chunky hats & a worsted cowl.
“MUST a name mean something?" Alice asked doubtfully. “Of course it must," Humpty Dumpty said with a short laugh: “MY name means the shape I am-and a good handsome shape it is, too. With a name like yours, you might be any shape, almost."
-Through the Looking Glass, by Lewis Carroll
This trio of handsome, textured accessories is named after the “Pier-Glass" pattern from Barbara Walker’s Second Treasury of Knitting Patterns. A pier glass is a tall mirror put on a wall between two windows, often with shape & design to match the windows. Undulating diamonds reminiscent of framed mirrors decorate these fun knits.
Both written & charted instructions are provided.
Special stitches are explained & a photo tutorial of p2togtbl is provided.
