LOTTA Socks - Knitting pattern in English and German
The knitting pattern with easy to follow instructions is a pdf that is available to download immediately after your purchase. So you can start your beautiful new socks rightaway!
LOTTA socks are knitted on circular needles starting from the cuff.
On the instep an easy to knit ajour pattern band (knit stitches and yarn overs) runs over 15 stitches from the rib to the toe. The heel is knitted as a boomerang heel using short rows.
The instructions are written for the Magic Loop technique; you may knit the socks on four double pointed needles, too.
The pattern band is described in a chart.
GAUGE
30 sts = 10 cm (4 X 4'') knitted in stockinette stitch with 2,5 mm (US 1.5) needles in stockinette stitch
