Product Details

Towards the end of the visit of Castle Fraser, one gets to enter the vast library, created by Colonel Charles Mackenzie Fraser.

Enhanced by the multiple identical bookcases, made of dark wood, and full of ancient books, the volutes of the wallpaper stand out. The original wallpaper, which looks like stencil in places, dates from c1839 and is the inspiration behind this bag.

The flap of the bag is worked using the double knitting technique. Upon completion of the knitted part, a fabric lining is constructed. Both the lining and a shoulder strap are sewn in place.
