Maranui Surf and Life Saving Club is a large wooden building right on the beach in Wellington's Lyall Bay. It has been relentlessly battered by wind, has burned down and been rebuilt, and now houses a cafe on it's top floor where you can get excellent coffee and a view over the sea.
