Product Details
This is a lace sock that is knit from the toe up, with a slip stitch heel. There are 2 sizes, a 72 stitch leg and a 64 stitch leg.
Although I have included directions for knitting them from the cuff down, I STRONGLY recommend doing these toe up. The lace pattern on the leg can be a bit tricky, on some rounds you will have to shift the end of round marker. If you already have the lace pattern established on the foot, it’s much easier.
“Marrella was the first fossil collected by Charles Doolittle Walcott from the Burgess Shale. Walcott described Marrella informally as a “lace crab” and described it more formally as an odd trilobite."
