Product Details
This round basket is perfect for displaying Easter eggs or Christmas decorations, storing yarn and knitting needles or pens/pencils/brushes.
The pattern allows to knit a basket of any size.
The Basket is knitted in the round (use double pointed or circular needles).
It may be knit in any yarn weight, in order to keep fabric tight enough, use needles smaller than what’s recommended for the yarn.
Gauge is not crucial for this pattern. Basket’s size depends on yarn, number of repeat and knitting tension.
Approximate size: height is 9cm (3½”) / 12cm (4¾”) diameter is cm 20cm (7⅞”) / 7.5cm (3”)
Gauge: 20sts and 30rows = 10 cm
Yarn: ~ 80/220 meters (88/240 yards) of Aran Weight Yarn, e.g.: Drops Paris (100% Cotton, 75m/50g)
