This pattern was written for Tahki Yarns New Tweed. As that yarn has been discontinued, I would suggest using Tahki Yarns Coast available from Tahki Stacy Charles. It gets the same gauge on the same needles.
I prefer to join knitted pieces and reinforce edges with crochet, which produces durable seams and firm edges. This is optional.
All Mari Sweaters patterns make sleeves from the top down, which produces a smoother, better fitting garment.
