Product Details

This standard length, loose fitting Aran Cardigan is worked from the bottom edge to the underarm in one piece. The body is split at the armholes, and the upper fronts and back are worked back and forth separately. Button bands are knitted as part of the garment. The buttonholes are worked in the "O"s of the OX cable. The sleeves are knitted from the cuff to the armhole and sewn in . Saddle shoulders join the front and back. The neckline ribbing is then picked up and knit. Luscious cables will keep your interest while you knit.

Charts, a schematic, and photos are included in this pattern. A discussion of Cable Splay is a feature, as are photos and explanations of Bound Off Braid (to finish the edge). A list of abbreviations and an extensive key helps you know how you are supposed to work the many cables.
