The Marina Mist socks are inspired by the shimmering interplay of light and waves along the shore. This sock design features stranded colorwork that mimics the dynamic movement of water, evoking the beauty of rippling tides and the cool tranquility of a misty marina.
The socks are easy to work from fully written-out directions with stitch counts, as well as a schematic and a video tutorial. The Marina Mist socks are knitted from the top down and begins with the cuff and ends with the toes.
Any sock weight yarn: approx. 240-300yds (220-275m) total. Exact yardage may vary depending on circumference and the length of your leg and/or foot. Sample yardage (293yds/268m) in total for size EU 40/41 - MC: 200yds(183m) and CC: 93yds (85m).
SIZES: Foot circumferences after blocking.
S: Finished 7.5” (18-20 cm) to fit 8.5” (20.5-23 cm).
M: Finished 8.5” (20.5-23 cm) to fit 9.5” (23.5-25 cm).
L: Finished 9.5’ (23.5-25 cm) to fit 10.5” (25.5-27 cm).
