Product Details

This very feminine hat is knitted flat in garter stitch. Double decreases, slipped stitches, and short rows give it an unusual and slightly vintage looks. Using a hat pin and collecting your hair in a bun or a braid will accentuate this effect. The hat is supposed to be worn slightly on one side. Skipping the hat pin (you can use any pin, actually) puts this hat at risk on windy days. Parlami d’amore Mariù is the song sung by Vittorio De Sica in the film Gli uomini che mascalzoni (What Scoundrels Men are) by Mario Camerini, set in the 1930’s Milan.
