If you have in your stash a skein of crazy-variegated worsted yarn and don’t know what to do with it, here is the solution:).
Gauge 24 sts and 26 rounds = 4” (10 cm) on size US7 (4.5 mm) needles over colorwork pattern after blocking.
Tools Size US 6 (4 mm) and size 7 (4.5 mm) circular (circ) needles 16”/40 cm long, or size to obtain gauge One set of double pointed needles (DPNs) (hat only) size US 7 (4.5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge. 1 marker, tapestry needle.
Materials: 180 yds/ 162 m (hat) and 250 yds/ 225 m (cowl) of worsted weight yarn
