Product Details
Merriment was inspired by a windy day by the seaside. The smell of sand and sea, wind in your hair, and smiles. Carefree and fun!
Just like its inspiration, Merriment is a fun little project to knit! It’s small and thus very portable. It can be knit with less than a skein of fingering weight yarn. And if you like, you can maybe add a dash of glitter, for some extra fun!
This slouchy beanie has columns of different stitch patterns: simple lace and some seed stitch making it very light and airy. One of the lace columns adds an ever so slight twist to the hat, making it a bit whimsical.
*You will need approx. 400m / 437y of fingering weight yarn. *Size S sample (turquoise) was knit using Lanitium ex Machina Glitter Sock in Blue Dasher and Size L sample (green) was knit using iKKe Yarns Glitter Sock in a OOAK colorway. An alternative yarn is suggested below.
