Product Details

I planted Moon Flowers this summer in my garden which was the inspiration to the center back panel of this stole. I created this pattern using a combinations of stitches. For the center circle section on the back of the shawl I created a lacy doily pattern that has eight sections. This shawl is worded in three parts. The side panels of this stole are worked separately after the completion of the center circle. The way I worked this is when I completed the lacy circle I worked the first stitches that would be used for one side of the stole, then I bound off stitches. I then worked the stitches that would be used for the other side panel of the shawl and placed then on a spare circular needle cable that I had, but you can use whatever stitch holder that you have. Then I bound off that last set of stitches which brought me back to the first side stitches that I worked. Once I completed the first side I returned to the held stitches on the circle and worked the other side of the stole.
