Mouse on a Ladder

Size

Standing on the ground, the mouse is about 11cm (4 ¼”) tall to the tip of the nose, and the ladder is about 14cm (5 ½”) high.

Tools and materials:

~ DK yarn in coat color (silver), pink, red, white, bauble color (blue), gold, tan, and grey

~ 2.75mm/C hook

~ 6mm black plastic safety eyes

~ fiberfill stuffing

~ stitch markers, pair of scissors, pins, yarn needle

~ optional: a big bead, wire cutter, bamboo skewers

Difficulty

This pattern is suitable for intermediate level crocheters, who are confident with basic stitches (ch, sl st, sc) and frequently used amigurumi techniques (invisible decrease, magic loop, working in FLO/BLO).

The pattern is written in English using US crochet terminology (UK/Aus equivalents provided). It contains many in-progress photos to help you crochet the mouse, but also includes a text-only appendix for easy printing, if you prefer working from a printed pattern but want to save ink and paper.
