Product Details
A melody of ripples (thanks to the wide bias rib) and poetic picot edging combine to make a scarf that sings!
Scarf is knitted flat in 2 identical sections from tips to center. It begins with a picot cast on and is worked in wide bias ribs, with picot edging along one side. Pieces are grafted together (yes, you can do that!) in the center. The finished scarf is uniform in width through the center, with long tapered ends.
Gauge: 26 sts and 34 rows = 4" / 10 cm in Stockinette stitch.
Techniques: Picot cast on and picot edging (both using knitted cast-on method), increases (work in front and in back of a stitch), decreases (ssk and p2tog), grafting (knitwise).
Pattern includes: Written instructions, supplementary chart covering the first 100 (out of 266) rows, glossary.
