My Little Minion

Every year my son has a silly hat day in school. Last year was our first and we were not prepared, so he wore an antler band instead. I remember the day being quite chilly last year so this year I wanted to be more prepared and plan ahead. Since watching Despicable Me, both me and him have not gotten over Minions. so I decided that it was a good idea to try to replicate our favourite character for favourite hat. So how about one for your little one. It will be great for halloween too. Hope you have as much fun crocheting this hat, as I did! If you follow the basic pattern for the hat and use a different personalization, you can make the same hat take on a different personality. Like you see in images 2 and 3 where I have used a white base yarn and personalized the cap to be Olaf - snowman character from the movie Frozen. So create little minions or take on other personalities. You are sure to enjoy it. Just let your imagination role.
