Product Details
Introducing Nanny's Crown, a hooded cowl that revealed itself quite unexpectedly during some recent collar experiments. This design is worked bottom up from the shoulder edge of its cowl to the top of its hood. Beginning in the round, stitches are split at the chin and worked flat to the end. Subtle shaping is made at the center back line of its hood, where stitches are finally split and joined by grafting (or by 3-needle BO). Bulky weight alpaca yarn worked in Mock English Rib is soft and cushy and lighter than air – a pleasure to wear. It's a quick and fun project too. Enjoy!
SKILLS REQUIRED: Long-tail CO, circular knitting, decreasing (ssk, k2tog, p2tog, p2tog tbl) and grafting or 3-needle BO.
