Product Details
Native American Afghan and Baby Cocoon, #813. Traditional Native American themes are created using just single and double crochet stitches. All color changes are at the beginning of the row (i.e. you will alternate row colors, one row turquoise, then one row dark turquoise, then one row coral, etc)--easy peasy! Pattern is formed by the dropped dc stitch in the front lp of stitch 2 rows below. (see our website for a video how-to tutorial showing this easy technique). Included are instructions to make an afghan in two sizes -- 45" x 65" adult size made using worsted-weight yarn and the 36" x 40" baby size made using baby-weight yarn. Also included are instructions to make a 18" x 19" baby cocoon swaddler from baby yarn (fits newborn to 3 mos). Pattern booklet includes written instructions as well as optional graphs..
