Product Details

Nemo is knitted flat, the body has one seam along the bottom, the fins are two knitted pieces seamed together to give a feeling of quality to the finished item.

Step by step instructions are given for each piece required and there is a section at the end on how to put everything together.

German Short Rows are used to give a curved shaped to the middle white area, step by step instructions are given on how they will be worked. This curved area gives a distinctive look to Nemo, however, if short rows are not something you wish to work with then instructions are given to make this area a regular stripe as an alternative.

I enjoyed making this fish although I was trying to use up leftovers so he is in different colours. You need to pay close attention to the instructions as there are numerous colour and stitch changes. I made a second one without the German Short Row method and did not see a lot of difference to his shape.
