This is an easy stepped rib sock pattern with an "eye of partridge" heel and a round toe. Instructions are both written and charted, and are easily memorized, making this a good travelling project. It is very straightforward and lots of fun, both for the beginning sock knitter or the more experienced.

US size 1 or 2, or size needed to obtain gauge stitch markers
