Product Details
This aran sweater, part of the [Liturgical Year Pattern Series][1], is meant to be the best of what might be called "ordinary." To learn more about the inspiration behind this pattern, [click here][2].
Don't like hoods or zippers? Instructions are also included for a round collar and a button band. These have all been tested.
Choose the fit you want; it is shown with both 2" of negative ease" and 4" of positive ease.
This sweater was specifically designed for a wool/alpaca blend, which relaxes more when blocked. If you are using a 100% wool, knit the next size up from what you otherwise would.
Yardage: 11(12/13/14/15/16) skeins of Kirby Woolpaca, 109 yards each. Take off 1 ball if you are not making the hood.
This pattern has been test knit 4 times and independently copy edited.
