Product Details
Take the sort of patterning you find on carpets of the Far East and mix it with the shape of a Doctor’s bag and you get this design. ‘Orient’ is very generously sized with highly decorative sides worked in intarsia and a stranded colourwork base. It’s knitted in an Aran weight yarn and embroidered then felted / fulled to both blur the colours and add to the structure of the bag. Additionally, a plastic grid type base inserted into the bottom of the bag stops it from sagging when used whilst Italian leather handles and ‘antiqued’ metal bag feet add the final finishing touch.
