Product Details
It was my grandmother who taught me to crochet. That was a long time ago. As a little girl I was impressed by her, she had a hook in her hand each time I went to visit her. Her house was filled with doilies, crocheted tablecloths and beadspreads, she used to wear crocheted collars, sweaters and shawls, and also we children profited by her art in the form of crocheted garments. My grandmother is long since gone. This is dedicated to her – for waking a passion in me.
Paean is a triangle shawl worked from the top to the bottom in a fingering sock yarn. It is an easy lacy pattern that will result in a beautiful and a bit old-fashioned shawl. You can of course use any other yarn as well, it needs not be a fingering.
The pattern is written using American crochet terms.
